How to Minimize Back Strain During Daily Activities

Back problems are usually the result of months or even years of stress to the spine during both work and home activities. This one hour seminar is designed to teach you how to protect your back during these activities. There will be a review of basic anatomy and back care principles. The seminar will also include:
  • A review of the importance of maintaining a neutral spine during both at rest and during activity
  • The use of proper body mechanics to reduce stress on the spine during lifting, pushing and pulling
  • Strategies to interrupt prolonged and/or stressful postures and activities
  • The importance of exercise in the management of back pain
